ANDREAS A. ALEXANDROU, CPA Director Andreas Alexandrou, CPA, was promoted to audit partner at Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman, effective on July 1, 2006. He has more than 11 years' experience in auditing and accounting with Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting at the University of Maryland. Since entering public accounting, Mr. Alexandrou has further expanded his knowledge through continuing professional education and hands-on supervisory experience as a member of our audit staff. Andreas Alexandrou has concentrated his skills in the specialized field of audits and internal control review of nonprofit organizations including associations, private voluntary organizations and other charitable institutions. He has assisted in the planning and budgeting of audits in accordance with the Yellow Book, and OMB Circulars A-122 and A-133. His responsibilities include interaction with client staff and management to ensure the efficient completion of fieldwork and report preparation. He frequently travels abroad to perform field office audits and internal control evaluations for international clients.
