“We want to commend your firm, especially Amy Boland, on the outstanding service recently provided to the Close Up Foundation during our FY07 audit.

To put things in perspective, we’ve experienced a lot of change here the past few years – much of which stems from the retirement of our founder after 35 years of service. As we look to grow and build net assets, our new executive team has induced much beneficial change. As part of our efforts, we switched auditors after decades with a big four provider, hired a new CFO and outsourced many functions to Outsourcing Partners, International. In other words, we had a lot going on – all at the same time.  And we still found ourselves challenged as we began the FY07 audit.

Frankly, the services provided by Amy Boland and the entire team (Sergey Yeremenko, James Lee and Tom Netznik) were outstanding.  Sergey’s experience and understanding of our organization provided the framework that guided a most-collaborative effort. The team was professional and efficient, yet also understanding as our new finance staff navigated the process.

In addition, Amy’s presentation to our newly-formed Board Audit Committee was clear, concise and comprehensive.  It was clear she had “done her homework.”  She provided valuable insights and responses to Board questions and gave our Committee the information it needed to do its job and prepare a presentation to the full Board.

In short, your team made the process a positive one for our staff.  We appreciate the cooperative approach of Amy, Sergey, et al., and believe we’ve learned a lot to help us going forward as well.”
