JACQUELINE A. ONETO, CPA
Audit Manager
 Jacqueline Oneto, CPA has 12 years experience in auditing and accounting in both the public and private sectors. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting at the University of Maryland and continues to expand her knowledge in auditing and tax preparation through continuing professional education and hands on work experience.
During her eight years with Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman, Jacqueline Oneto has concentrated her skills in the specialized field of nonprofit organizations including associations, private voluntary organizations and other charitable institutions. She assists in the planning and budgeting of audits in accordance with the Yellow Book, and OMB Circulars A-122 and A-133. Her responsibilities include interaction with client staff and management to ensure the efficient completion of fieldwork and report preparation. She manages the audit fieldwork and supervises staff assistants on several of the firm’s large nonprofit clients. Ms. Oneto travels internationally to perform audits and internal control reviews, and provides training and advice to field office staff on USAID requirements, grants management, reporting procedures and policy manuals.
Ms. Oneto is a member of the AICPA, the Greater Washington Society and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants. She is also an active member of the Finance & Administration Roundtable in Washington DC.
