Troy Turner, CPA, a Shareholder/Director in the firm of Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman, works in all areas of income tax compliance and planning.  Mr. Turner has over ten years’ experience in public accounting and international taxation.  In the international area his particular expertise relates to taxation issues of U.S. citizens working overseas, reporting requirements of U.S. persons with ownership in foreign companies or investments and the taxation of non resident aliens working in the U.S.

In addition to his international taxation work, Mr. Turner assists with the preparation of complex individual and business tax returns.  Some examples of these types of returns or compliance areas include preparing individual tax returns with multiple income streams, implementing tax accounting method changes, preparing consolidated corporate income tax returns, preparing corporate returns containing complex sale elections, and calculating tax assets and liabilities for financial statement preparation.

Mr. Turner earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.
