Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman Community Service Demonstrates Local and International Impact
Nov 5, 2010
If October isn’t Community Service Month for everyone, it is for Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman. Last month, our firm participated in two projects, demonstrating that our commitment to making the world a better place isn’t just professional–it is personal:
- Our employees participated in the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, resulting in a donation of $6,400 to the Lazarus Foundation
- Employees also spent a Saturday morning cleaning up and landscaping an area around the C&O Canal National Historical Park.
Earlier this year, the firm and individual employees also donated $4,000 to Lutheran World Relief, the American Jewish World Service, Action Against Hunger and Mercy Corps to support Haitian relief efforts after a devastating earthquake.
Visit the firm’s Service to the Community Involvement web page for information and images about the work we have accomplished over the years.
Had I not met and trusted Kate Fisken, I would have made a big mess out of my government contracts. I didn’t realize how complex the business could be.
