Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman Senior Audit Manager Joins the Board of the Regional Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America

Feb 7, 2011

Senior Audit Manager Trevor Williams has joined the Board of Directors of the Maryland-District of Columbia-Virginia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America. The Lupus Foundation is, according to the nonprofit’s website, the nation’s foremost health organization dedicated to finding the causes of and the cure for lupus and providing support, services and hope to all people affected by lupus.

“I am excited by the opportunity to work with an organization that pursues such a great mission,” said Williams. “The health of many people is affected by lupus, and when a friend referred me to this opportunity, I recognized it as a good match.”

Trevor Williams has more than 18 years of experience providing audit services, assisting with contractual compliance rules, regulations, policies, procedures and operations. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the National Association of Black Accountants and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs.

The rules and regulations in the Government Contracting industry are complex and Judy Lasley does an excellent job of educating me on how to wisely calculate, set and defend rates, as well as the long-term consequences of choosing the wrong rates.
