Jennifer Arminger, CPA
Nonprofit Audit Partner/Auditing Instructor
Jennifer Arminger, CPA has worked with Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs since 2008. During her tenure, she has concentrated her skills and expertise in auditing and accounting for tax-exempt organizations.
As a partner, Ms. Arminger is responsible for coordinating interactions between firm and client staff and for ensuring the engagement is completed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. She manages all phases of engagements for audits of nonprofit organizations, including accreditation programs, associations, private voluntary organizations and other charitable institutions.
Ms. Arminger also has extensive experience in auditing organizations in accordance with Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). Furthermore, Ms. Arminger helps manage the Employee Benefit Plan Practice, ensuring compliance with the specifics of various plan qualifications, such as (but not limited to) audits of 401(K), 401(a), 403(b) and defined benefit plans.
Ms. Arminger travels internationally on behalf of GRF clients, most recently completing trips to Nairobi, Oslo, Paris, Port-au-Prince, Kigali and Juba. She is an activist for juvenile diabetes who participates in numerous local fundraising events and sits on the boards of both Live Baltimore and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance. Ms. Arminger is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs. She earned her bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland in College Park. Ms. Arminger works to expand her expertise through continuing professional education and hands-on experience as a leading member of the firm’s audit team.
