Neal Becker, MCSA
IT Systems Director
Neal Becker has more than 11 years of experience providing IT engineering and support services to companies’ systems networks. Before coming to Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs, Mr. Becker worked as an associate systems engineer for Watkins IT Group. At Watkins, he was responsible for installing and maintaining computer and network components for a large external client base, including the construction and installation of desktop PCs in the Watkins’ computer network and performing diagnostic connectivity issues in the company’s network environment.
Mr. Becker came to Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman in July 2001 and served first as systems assistant before assuming director responsibilities. He currently is responsible for providing oversight of the firm’s network health, from servers to individual personal computers and installing network upgrades and offering desktop support. As an IT professional, he performs both on- and off-site testing and set-ups as well as recommending further technology solutionsas client needs evolve. His responsibilities include interaction with client staff and management to ensure the efficient implementation and migration of systems.
Mr. Becker is experienced with the comprehensive IT support services necessary to maintain a functional and professional work environment. He can review current and future contracts for outsourced IT services and make recommendations regarding their quality and long-term capabilities to sustain current projects and network health.
