Walter H. Deyhle, CPA/ABV/CFF, MAFF, CExP™, CEPA is a partner and the director of Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs’ Tax and Financial Planning Division. He and his staff provide in-house computerized preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, estate and trust, and nonprofit tax filings.
Mr. Deyhle also holds the CExP™ designation from the Business Enterprise Institute, which provides him industry-recognized credentials to advise business owners on exit planning strategies that assist in the transition to new roles while maintaining the benefits of their life’s work. In September 2016, he was awarded the Certified Exit Planning Advisor designation by the Exit Planning Institute.
Mr. Deyhle has been involved in the business valuation process since 2000, utilizing his expertise for mergers, acquisitions, liquidations and reorganizations, divorce settlements and litigation, estate and gift tax planning, public offerings and buy-sell agreements. He completed the certification workshop in Family and Owner-Managed Business conducted by Crowe Horwath International. He has been a member of the Institute of Business Appraisers since 1995 and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts since 1993, and is a former member of the Maryland Association of CPAs Business Valuation/Litigation Support Committee. He has received his designation as Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) by the AICPA.
