The Nonprofit Roundtable of Greater Washington is currently accepting applications for its second-ever class for the Future Executive Directors Fellowship.
The Fellowship is a 12-month program designed to prepare candidates for leadership positions in Washington-area nonprofit organizations. The first class of the Fellowship was held in 2008, and of 25 fellows who participated, five have already become Executive Directors for nonprofit organizations in the area.
Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs is delighted to co-sponsor this important initiative.
Over the course of the Fellowship, emerging leaders will receive instruction in leadership, mentoring and networking, among other areas. They will also have multiple opportunities to speak one-on-one with other Executive Directors from nonprofit organizations in the DC metro area.
Applicants to the Fellowship should have several years of nonprofit experience, in addition to some managerial expertise. They should be fully committed to becoming an Executive Director for a DC-area nonprofit as the next step in their careers, and also have the full support of their current organization.
