Government Contracting Challenges and Solutions
|Date:||February 27, 2014|
|Time:||7:30 AM-6:00 PM|
Fairview Park Marriott
Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman will attend and exhibit at “Government Contracting Challenges and Solutions”, an event intended to provide government contractors with tools and solutions to face some of the biggest challenges in their industry. Contractors are operating in an increasingly challenging environment. Added to the regulatory challenges of business systems rules, compensation caps, and more aggressive audits by an expanding set of agencies and Inspectors General are new competitive pressures. Customers are moving to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procurements. Middle market contractors are being squeezed out of IDIQ vehicles targeted at only large and small contractors. Budget uncertainty has pushed procurements into future quarter. And after winning an award, protests are a near certainty.
Senior Client Services Manager John Pace will participate and Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman will host an exhibit booth during the morning.
This event is co-hosted by the Greater Washington Society of CPAs and IMA: The Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business.
I am so pleased to have Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman as a resource. I can’t remember ever being so thrilled with an accounting firm during my twenty-five year career. Terri McKnight is solid gold.
