Following GRF CPAs & Advisor’s (GRF) recognition earlier this year as one of Accounting Today’s 2020 Best Accounting Firms to Work for in the Midsized Firms category, the firm has been honored once again. In their new report, Accounting Today singles out the members of the Best Accounting Firms to Work For that are most successful at creating workplaces of choice for younger members of the workforce. GRF is pleased to be one of 10 firms recognized in the publication’s 2020 list of Best Firms for Young Accountants. Download the report.

The publication highlights GRF’s strategies for recruiting and retaining young accountants. President and Managing Partner, Jackie Cardello, CPA explained, “Our CPAs regularly present to accounting students, support scholarship programs, and work with our state CPA societies to address the current shortage of CPAs. GRF also maintains a popular internship program (virtual in 2020!) to begin cultivating our next generation of leaders while they are still earning their degrees.” She added, “Our younger team members appreciate benefits like flexible work schedules that support caring for children and family members. Those hoping to get their CPA license can take advantage of complimentary CPA Exam review courses and continuous training and development aimed at improving their soft skills. They also have opportunities to participate in firm-wide initiatives like the diversity, equity and inclusion committee, Women on the Move (the firm’s women’s leadership initiative) and the GRF employee engagement committee.”

The Accounting Today survey and awards program is designed to identify and recognize the best employers in the accounting profession, benefiting its economy, workforce and businesses.
