Our nonprofit organization hired Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman (GRF) three years ago to handle our first audit.  We are not a typical organization – our office is virtual and our financial documents are scanned and kept on secure servers.  This virtual system presented unique challenges that GRF handled with skill and professionalism, including learning how to use the secure document handling system and accommodating the multiple locations of our staff.

We are now finishing our third audit with GRF.  In particular, Andreas Alexandrou has kept us on a track of continuous improvement in our financial processes and office management.  When we needed to make changes, he provided us with templates, advice, and follow-up to make sure the proper improvements were put in place.

Our organization was so pleased with GRF’s handling of the audit, we hired the company to handle our annual taxes.  When a past issue came up (from our previous accountants) Stephen Kelin was not only able to resolve the problem quickly, he obtained a refund for us – from the IRS!  As with our audit, communication was frequent and everything was handled with professionalism.

Whether it is for general auditing or taxes, I highly recommend Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman.
