Biography

Ms. Cook has worked in public accounting since 1986, having most recently served in senior positions at a top 10 accounting firm and a Big Four firm. In these roles, she served large and mid-sized multinational public and private companies in government contracting, telecommunications, software, manufacturing and real estate industries. Her responsibilities included leadership of tax teams in the preparation of tax provisions for multinational companies, consolidated multi-state corporations and pass-through entities.

As a senior manager at GRF CPAs & Advisors, Ms. Cook prepares and oversees the preparation of corporate, state and international tax returns. She counsels clients on the evaluation of valuation allowance, tax contingency reserves under ASC 740/FIN 48, APB 23 positions, corresponding 10K report enclosures and SOX 404 compliance and remediation issues.

Ms. Cook is a founding member of Women on the Move, GRF’s women’s leadership initiative formalized in 2019.
