Understanding 2024 OMB 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance Changes

1 CPE credit is available for this webinar.

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) recently published its final revisions to the federal Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200). This revision outlines compliance and reporting requirements for federal financial assistance, such as grants and loans. These changes become effective on October 1, 2024 and are noted as the most significant updates to Uniform Guidance since it was released in 2013. Join us for an overview of the revisions and how non-federal entities can ensure compliance with their grant management process.

As a part of this webinar, GRF experts will explore the following key items:

  • Major changes to the Uniform Guidance that will affect non-federal entities receiving grant funding
  • When entities are expected to follow the update cost principles guidance and how best to prepare for the changes
  • How the federal updates affect grant recipients, including First-Tier subrecipients
  • Positive aspects of the revisions
