The Nonprofit Roundtable of Greater Washington, an alliance of nonprofits and community partners working to improve the quality of life in the Washington, DC region, announced its third class of future executive fellows at its annual meeting earlier this month. This represents the third cohort of 25 emerging leaders in the nonprofit sector who aspire to executive level positions. Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs has sponsored the program since its inception in 2008.

Fellows participate in an intensive annual program to prepare them for their future roles as leaders, developing their skills in various areas critical to effective organizational management in the nonprofit sector, including fundraising, communications, human resources, effective negotiations and others.

Nonprofit Audit Partner Jackie Oneto, CPA and Client Services Partner Ian Shuman, CPA of Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs will present two day-long workshops on financial management for the new cohort of fellows in December 2012 and February 2013.

Our firm wishes to congratulate the fellows and looks forward to following their progress over the course of the next year.
