Biography

Brian Ferreira, CPA, has more than 17 years of finance and accounting experience across healthcare, nonprofit, and biotechnology organizations ranging from $3 million to $3 billion in annual revenues. His experience includes finance and accounting outsourcing, technical accounting, and financial planning and analysis, with an emphasis on linking finance, operations, and strategy.

He provides financial and accounting consulting services to nonprofit organizations, including associations, professional membership organizations, public charities, and higher education institutions. His public accounting career began with a Big Four accounting firm and progressed to work with multibillion-dollar public companies, higher education institutions, and startups of various sizes.

His experience also includes coordinating craft presentations and deep dives using data-driven solutions to enhance financial reporting and analysis. Through CFO and Director of Finance outsourcing services, he helps clients use technology to deliver clearer, more relevant, and timely financial information. He has experience working with C-suite and board audiences and translating financial matters for non-financial programs and staff.
