Protecting Your Nonprofit’s Sustainability and Mitigating Legal Risks
This event is presented in collaboration with GRF and the Education and Research Foundation of the Better Business Bureau® of Metropolitan New York.
Manage Risks and Protect Your Nonprofit
Our speakers will discuss common risks encountered by nonprofits, including practical steps to help mitigate these risks in today’s constantly evolving world. We will provide examples as to how your nonprofit (or nonprofit clients) can develop strategies to mitigate their legal risks, protect their federal tax-exempt status, safeguard their reputation, and protect their assets in order to effectively further their missions.
Discussion topics will include:
- Identifying and mitigating operational, reporting, and compliance risks
- Aligning reserves with identified risks
- Mitigating legal risks from DEI and other evolving potential threats
- Proactive steps nonprofits can take to make themselves less of a target
