GRF CPAs & Advisors (GRF) is pleased to announce the firm has provided $150,000 to start the University of Maryland (UMD) Smith School of Business’ Artificial Intelligence (AI) Initiative for Capital Market Research. The move aligns with GRF’s recent investments in innovative technologies, including AI, which automate and enhance accounting processes for client engagements. With this commitment, GRF is entering into a strategic partnership to support cutting edge research that will advance the accounting profession.
The initiative’s goal is to help Smith School students learn and integrate AI-driven technologies that support data analysis, trading strategy, and risk management. These resources will prepare UMD business students to excel in both AI and capital markets and develop a highly desirable skill set that positions them to compete for top jobs in finance and accounting.
