GRF CPAs & Advisors (GRF) Partner, Elinor Litwack, CPA, will be recognized as part of NYN Media’s Nonprofit 40 Under 40 Class of 2021. This year’s winners will be celebrated during a virtual reception on April 28.

Each year, NYN Media recognizes 40 individuals under the age of 40 who have made great strides in their career and hold the promise of a bright future. These individuals share a commitment to the nonprofit sector and make a difference through the work they do every day.

Ms. Litwack is a partner in GRF CPAs & Advisors’ (GRF) Outsourced Accounting & Advisory Services practice. She specializes in financial and operational solutions for nonprofit organizations utilizing state of the art technology combined with deep industry expertise.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, nonprofit organizations faced significant impacts to their cash flow, strategic planning, programmatic initiatives and back office operations. Many were also forced to switch gears to 100% remote work. With her extensive knowledge of technology options and proven best practices for virtual operations, Elinor worked with nonprofits to help them quickly adapt.  As part of the firm’s COVID-19 Task Force, she was also instrumental in supporting the organizations as they navigated the technicalities and compliance requirements of stimulus provisions, including the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

In addition to working with a long list of nonprofits, Elinor’s commitment to her community is evident through her board positions and volunteer work. She currently serves as treasurer of I Support the Girls, a national organization providing bras and feminine hygiene products to women and girls in need. Additionally, Elinor is trustee and chair of the audit committee at Ben Porat Yosef, a private school in the New York area.
