Mac Lillard Receives AICPA’s Technology Advisory Standing Ovation Award
GRF CPAs & Advisors (GRF) Senior Manager, Mac Lillard, CPA, CITP, CFE, CISA, CRISC, was honored for his significant contributions to the accounting profession at the 2023 American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) & Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Engage conference last week in Las Vegas. He received AICPA’s 2023 Technology Advisory Standing Ovation award recognizing CITP® credential holders who are age 40 or younger and exhibit exemplary professional achievement in one or more of the following areas: information security, cybersecurity, SOC for cybersecurity, information privacy, business intelligence, data management, data analytics, IT governance, IT risk, and SOC reporting. Mr. Lillard is a Senior Manager in GRF’s Risk & Advisory Services division, where he specializes in helping organizations build and maintain risk management processes, optimize systems through integration and automation, enhance controls for fraud prevention/detection, and improve their cybersecurity posture. In addition to traveling domestically and internationally to serve the firm’s clients, he regularly publishes thought leadership and speaks at industry conferences. Mr. Lillard is currently serving as the Vice President of Programs for the Washington, DC Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
