GRF is pleased to announce that Melissa Musser CPA, CITP, CISA, partner and director of the firm’s Risk & Advisory services, is honored for Excellence in Innovation in Consulting® Magazine’s 2022 Women Leaders in Technology awards. “Melissa’s exceptional leadership is driving the acquisition and development of innovative new tools that complement our consultative skills,” said GRF’s President and Managing Partner Jacqueline Cardello when nominating Ms. Musser.
Since joining the firm as a principal three years ago, Ms. Musser has grown the Risk & Advisory service line into a thriving line of business. She and her team deploy cutting-edge technologies to help organizations effectively manage risk, offering specialized services in cybersecurity and privacy risk, enterprise risk management, internal audit solutions, and related advisory services. Last year she led the investment of new technology that allows affordable cybersecurity scans for GRF clients. She also implemented innovative Cybersecurity Audit tools that can assess an organization’s risk for cyberattack within days and provide a comprehensive report on prioritized security risks and recommended mitigation steps. These tools help clients respond to risks in an efficient, economical way, often leading to a reduction in the costs for response and cyber insurance.
Ms. Musser was promoted to Partner at GRF in January. She is the 2018 AICPA Information Management and Technology Assurance (IMTA) Standing Ovation award winner and current president of the Institute of Internal Auditor’s Washington DC Chapter.
