Executive leaders of nonprofits are frequently unsung heroes. They devote tireless efforts toward advancing their missions, resourcefully overcoming challenges despite insufficient budgets and limited staff. They inspire us with their generosity, commitment and drive, making our community better for all who live here.
The EXCEL Award offers an opportunity to recognize and shine the light on these champions. Awarded by the Center for Nonprofit Advancement and presented by GRF CPAs & Advisors, the EXCEL Award not only honors exceptional leaders, it also provides each winner with a $5,000 fund for continued professional development.
If you know an outstanding CEO or executive director of a nonprofit in our region, GRF encourages you to nominate him or her! Nominations can be made by board members, staff, volunteers, clients or community members, and can be submitted with or without the candidate’s knowledge. The call for nominations is now closed.
