Ariana Young, CPA

Biography

Ariana Young, CPA, is a seasoned public accounting professional with 20 years of experience specializing in audits of nonprofit organizations, including Uniform Guidance audits.  She has managed audits for a diverse client base including charitable organizations, membership organizations, trade associations, and think tanks. As a senior manager, she is responsible for managing staff and ensuring that her audits are completed accurately and in an efficient manner, as well as drafting audit reports.

Ms. Young is known for her expertise in all phases of financial statement engagements, from planning and fieldwork to supervision and review. Ariana is a trusted resource for clients, frequently participating in audit presentations to client governing boards and conducting accounting research on complex issues. Her leadership extends to mentoring, training, and supervising staff, and ensuring the development of a skilled and knowledgeable team.

In her free time, Ms. Young also volunteers as the treasurer for a small DC-based nonprofit organization that facilitates international adoptions.
