Biography

Jerrold Rosenberg, CPA is a retired founding partner of GRF CPAs & Advisors, formerly Gelman, Roseberg & Freedman CPAs, and former vice president of the firm. Mr. Rosenberg’s client base included for-profit businesses, high wealth individuals and nonprofit organizations. He worked with clients on business valuations, succession planning and wealth management.  He also demonstrated expertise on tax compliance and family-owned business to a sophisticated client base.

Mr. Rosenberg’s extensive experience includes auditing and consulting to government contractors, having worked for eleven years with the federal government, including more than four years as an auditor with the Defense Contract Audit Agency.  He served as one of the firm’s consultants to contractors and grantees and as an engagement partner for the firm’s audits, compilations and reviews of financial statements in this specialty.

A recognized expert in government contractor financial management issues, Mr. Rosenberg has spoken to various groups at industry group meetings and has presented “Accounting for Government Contractors – Demystified” for the Capital Area chapter of the Maryland Association of CPAs. He has also developed and taught courses on accounting systems for government contractors and has written articles for professional publications.
