Biography
Michael Larson is an audit manager with GRF CPAs & Advisors. He has over 8 years of experience in the accounting industry and is responsible for coordinating numerous aspects of the audit process, including managing staff, drafting reports, and ensuring his audits are completed accurately and in an efficient manner. Mr. Larson specializes in for-profit, mostly government contractors, and nonprofits including associations, foundations, INGOs and other charitable organizations. He has been with the firm for several years providing accounting and audit services to its extensive number of nonprofit and for-profit clients.
Mr. Larson has performed field audits in Central America, Africa and Europe. While traveling on behalf of the firm’s international clients, Mr. Larson performs a variety of audit work and agreed-upon procedures to ensure the client’s internal controls are appropriately compliant with donor requirements over the management of their funds. He is experienced with the requirements of Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance).
