About

Since 1939, ASPA has been the nation’s most respected society representing all forums in the public service arena. It is an advocate for greater effectiveness in government, agents of goodwill and professionalism, publishers of democratic journalism at its very best, purveyors of progressive theory and practice and providers of global citizenship. ASPA leaders believe that by embracing new ideas, addressing key public service issues and promoting change at the local, federal and international levels, the society can enhance the quality of lives worldwide.

GRF has been exceptional! Having worked with four other firms during my nonprofit career, the firm has ranked at the top. There is little need for clarification throughout the process, and GRF’s ability to adapt during the pandemic was exemplary. I also appreciate that GRF is on time and on budget, and there are no surprises whatsoever. Between the audits, our engagement partner checks in proactively throughout the year. GRF was particularly attentive during the COVID period, both to get a sense of our wellbeing, and to suggest possible approaches to managing the impact of the pandemic. In addition to informing ASPA’s staff of upcoming changes to the tax law, the team also actively engages the audit committee in a manner that is detailed, yet understandable.
