Biography

Heather is an experienced financial executive who helps nonprofit organizations strengthen their finance function through practical, right-sized technology solutions. As Principal and Director of Accounting Technology Services at GRF CPAs & Advisors, she leads the firm’s Sage Intacct practice, helping organizations implement, customize, integrate, and support cloud-based accounting systems that improve visibility, controls, reporting, and operational efficiency. 

Heather also brings specialized expertise in the connected platforms that extend Sage Intacct’s value across the finance ecosystem, including payroll and HR, accounts payable automation, budgeting and forecasting, Excel-based reporting, time tracking, and credit card expense management. Whether integrating a single application or designing a broader technology stack, she helps organizations align each platform with their workflows, chart of accounts, compliance requirements, and reporting needs—creating a seamless, scalable environment that reduces manual work, improves insight, and supports stronger financial decision-making. 

With experience as a controller and CFO, Heather brings an operator’s perspective to every engagement, pairing deep accounting knowledge with real-world implementation discipline. She has led or supported hundreds of systems implementations, including nonprofit Sage Intacct deployments and related integrations, and is known for translating complex requirements into clear, usable processes. Her “business simple” methodology focuses on aligning technology with each organization’s mission, workflows, and reporting needs so finance teams can work smarter, close faster, and accelerate the ROI of their technology investment.
