Biography

Omid Mohebbi, CPA is an Audit Senior Manager with GRF CPAs & Advisors. He joined the firm in 2011 and specializes in audits of nonprofit organizations, including foundations, associations, and other charitable institutions, and audits of employee benefit plans.

In his role, Mr. Mohebbi is responsible for managing audit engagements and serving as a client liaison throughout the planning, fieldwork, and post-fieldwork stages of each audit. In addition, he ensures the efficient, timely, and accurate completion of fieldwork, audit report preparation, and presentation of the audit and other key deliverables to governance bodies of the firm’s clients.

Mr. Mohebbi is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events on nonprofit accounting and reporting, employee benefit plans, and the latest accounting and auditing standards. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA) and Chair of the GWSCPA Audit Committee. In addition, he is the immediate past Chair of the GWSCPA Nonprofit Section and the GWSCPA Nonprofit Symposium Conference. Mr. Mohebbi was recognized in 2025 by Forbes as one of the top 200 CPAs in the United States.
