At Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs (GRF) we actively work within our community to help create a better tomorrow. We are highly motivated by our nonprofit clients and the work they do to improve the lives of all individuals.
Our firm participates in many different projects each year including Montgomery County Community Service Day, the Walk to End Lupus (DC/Maryland/Virginia Chapter), The Walk to End Epilepsy, DC Cares Servathon, and DC Central Kitchen, among others.
By participating in community service, our employees feel a stronger connection to their local community. Staff are encouraged to pursue their passion for community service and often recruit within the firm for support. Our team members volunteer for a variety of causes, by walking, working in community kitchens and helping environmental organizations.
Our team members currently serve on more than 20 nonprofit boards. They volunteer their unique sets of skills to help nonprofit organizations meet their objectives. Volunteering on boards helps our team members develop their nonprofit organizational knowledge even more as they gain first-hand experience in working toward achieving missions and goals.
