The Center for Nonprofit Advancement, in partnership with The Washington Post, announces the call for applications for The Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management. The deadline for applications is January 6, 2014.
 
 
In its 20th year of competition, The Washington Post Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management rewards management competence, recognizes innovation and promotes sustainable best practices. The 2013 recipient of The Washington Post Award was Good Shepherd Housing and Family Services, a nonprofit social service organization that reduces homelessness, increases community support and promotes the potential for self-sufficiency in Fairfax County, Virginia.
 
The competition is open to any 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
