Biography

Kristen Ocampo is a seasoned consultant with over twelve years of professional experience. She provides risk advisory services to a diverse set of clients, including internal audit solutions, risk consulting, and fraud/whistleblower investigations. She is experienced with risk management and internal audit software, including AuditBoard and TeamMate+.

Kristen enjoys working with GRF’s global clients and has supported organizations in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. She travels domestically and internationally to provide services to her clients.

In her role overseeing risk advisory engagements, Kristen helps clients evaluate operational efficiencies, identify weaknesses in their internal controls and risk management processes, and develop practical recommendations to improve their internal control environment.

Prior to joining GRF, Kristen worked as an internal auditor at a publicly traded financial services company and as an external auditor focused on the private equity and hospitality industries.

Kristen is an active member of the internal audit community. She serves as the Certifications Officer at the Institute of Internal Auditor’s Northern Virginia Chapter, where she encourages chapter members to enhance their skills with the Certified Internal Auditor certification. She has also presented in GRF’s webinar series and at various professional associations, including the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners’ DC Chapter and Humentum’s CEO Roundtable.
