Biography
Bill Murphy has 28 years of combined experience in finance and management roles. During his twelve-year tenure at GRF CPAs & Advisors, he has helped grow a 45-person firm with annual revenues of $4 million to one of nearly 100 employees grossing $18 million in revenue. His responsibilities as chief operating officer include management of the internal accounting functions and oversight of the information technology and human resources departments.
Mr. Murphy assists senior management on such issues as preparing budgets, forecasting and financial analysis, corporate governance and other issues including as leasing, facilities, audit of 401K Plan and peer review.
Prior to working at GRF, he worked in financial management at General Electric and graduated from its financial management program. As Director of Finance for Hay Management Consultants’ Washington, DC office, Mr. Murphy was responsible for budget, forecasting and financial duties.
