This year’s Sage Transform conference took place October 10-14 in sunny Orlando, Florida. And, like every Sage Intacct-led event, it was not only a great time for networking, but an informative event with news and updates from Sage. Below are our top three takeaways from the event.

2022 Sage Transform Key Takeaways

  1. New partnership with Major League Baseball: Sage has always invested in becoming a recognized brand within Europe and the UK, but to-date they have not invested heavily inside of the US. To address this, Sage announced a 3-year partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB). As part of the deal, Sage will sponsor specific MLB events & interviews to feature the brand across various media platforms, including Apple TV.
  2. Expansion of Industry Footprint: In conjunction with the Sage Intacct Manufacturing release in the UK and France this year, Sage announced the program will be coming to US customers in 2023. Sage also plans to expand the capabilities of their modules for the construction industry with new updates for operations, finances, payroll, and field service operations.
  3. Green mission: Finally, Sage has announced its acquisition of Spherics, a UK-based carbon accounting solution. Spherics automates the process of calculating emissions from a customer’s accounting software and matches them with emission factors to create an estimate of their carbon footprint. With the addition of Spherics, Sage is launching an initiative to help SMBs achieve better insight into their environmental impact and implement simple, yet effective ways to reduce their carbon emissions.
