Richard Locastro, nonprofit tax principal at Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman CPAs, has been selected to speak at the 2014 AICPA Not-for-Profit Industry Conference. Mr. Locastro will speak during the following sessions:

  • “Form 990 Unplugged”; Friday, June 13, 8:30 – 9:45 am; Mr. Locastro will respond to questions and address burning issues participants have concerning federal Form 990
  • “Tax Planning for UBIT: Unplugged”; Friday, June 13, 10:15 – 11:30 am; Mr. Locastro will participate in a discussion about unrelated business income tax with an emphasis on identifying and planning for such activities
  • “Ask the Experts Panel: Tax”; Friday, June 13, 2:15 – 3:30 pm; Mr. Locastro will participate on a panel of nonprofit tax experts to address questions and issues specific to federal Form 990 and other exempt organization tax issues

Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman will also serve as a sponsor for the 2014 AICPA Not-for-Profit Industry Conference for the third year in a row. The conference is scheduled to be held at the Marriott Wardman Hotel in Washington, DC from June 11 to 13.
