Trevor Williams Discusses Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with CPAmerica

Mr. Williams notes that the initial impact of GRF’s formal DEI initiative in 2019 was nearly immediate. The initiative set the groundwork for improved employee performance, lower turnover, greater profitability, and increased job satisfaction. Pleased with GRF’s commitment to DEI, he gladly accepted the role of Director of DEI in January and looks forward to the opportunity to leverage a seat at the senior leadership table.
He also offered advice to other organizations considering a DEI initiative. Mr. Williams stressed that more than ever, staff are embracing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture and are longing for a sense of belonging, connection, and trust. He believes GRF’s experience in establishing a successful DEI initiative is a good lesson in the power of workplace culture.
