Alison Conklin, CPA

Biography

Alison Conklin is an Audit & Assurance Principal with GRF CPAs & Advisors, where she has been delivering high-quality audit services since 2013. Specializing in nonprofit organizations, Ms. Conklin brings over a decade of expertise in navigating the unique financial and regulatory landscapes of mission-driven entities. 

As a senior manager, Ms. Conklin leads all aspects of client engagements—from planning and fieldwork to final reporting—ensuring audits are executed with precision, insight, and integrity. Ms. Conklin works closely with Boards of Directors and executive management teams to design audit strategies that align with each organization’s mission and operational complexity.  

Ms. Conklin has extensive experience managing audits that require compliance with Title 2 U.S. Code of Regulations (CFR) Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance), and works closely with client management to identify ways to strengthen policies and procedures around grant administration and compliance. 

Ms. Conklin frequently travels internationally to conduct audit fieldwork, offering hands-on support to clients across the globe. While traveling to support the firm’s international clients, Ms. Conklin conducts a range of audit procedures and agreed-upon engagements to evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and ensure compliance with donor requirements related to fund management.
