Biography

With more than 13 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, Julie Hulem has built a distinguished career specializing in tax services for flow-through entities. As a key member of the For-Profit Tax team at GRF CPAs & Advisors, she also supports corporate and individual clients. Over the last three years, Ms. Hulem has managed the tax compliance and planning process for a diverse range of clients across industries, with particular expertise in government contracting (GovCon), professional services, and real estate.

Prior to joining GRF, Ms. Hulem spent a decade at PwC, where she gained invaluable experience supporting private equity (PE) tax compliance. During those 10 years, Ms. Hulem developed deep technical expertise in partnership taxation and the tax complexities of investment funds and portfolio companies. This experience laid a strong foundation for Julie Hulem’s ability to navigate the unique tax landscapes of high-net-worth individuals, private equity firms, and closely held businesses.
