Amy Boland, CPA

Biography

Ms. Boland has been working in auditing and public accounting since 1994. She specializes in audits of nonprofit organizations including associations, private voluntary organizations and other charitable institutions; specifically 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations across a spectrum of cause areas. As an expert on Uniform Guidance, she is a frequent presenter on updates to OMB’s federal compliance regulations. Ms. Boland also performs USAID and other federal audits, assisting global clients in strengthening their field office controls and establishing policies and procedures to ensure grant compliance.

As a partner and director of the audit department, Ms. Boland is responsible for all aspects of client service and engagement administration, and interacts with client management and staff to plan engagements, resolve problems and suggest procedures to improve the accounting process and internal controls. Additionally, she oversees budgeting and the supervision of audit staff to ensure the efficient completion of fieldwork.

Ms. Boland is a founding member of Women on the Move, GRF’s women’s leadership initiative formalized in 2019. In April 2022, she was appointed to the AICPA Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee.
